Harrisonburg City Public Schools' LIFE program supports adult students with disabilities (ages 18-22) in developing skills to promote active, contributing members of society. The program also supports students’ individual goals that will promote independence and quality living after their exit from the program. Skill focuses include work-based learning, community access and integration, and independent living skills.
The LIFE program builds capacity for adult student independence with a focus on community access & integration. In three words, the LIFE program can be summed up with Independence, Self, and Community.
I submitted this logo design as part of a class project, and it was unanimously selected to be the official logo for the LIFE Program.
